Zensar Technologies has moved higher by 7% to Rs 619 after the information technology (IT) company announced that it has signed multi-million dollar deals in its infrastructure management business in the US in the concluding month of calendar year 2014.
“The company has signed several new deals in infrastructure management, including a remote infrastructure management services deal towards enhanced end user experience management, for a large 3 billion dollar financial services firm which provides credit ratings and research covering debt instruments and securities,” Zensar Technologies said in a statement.
"Other deals include services for a significant managed services deal including monitoring and support for storage and backup and network support for a US based life science tools and molecular diagnostic products company," it added.
The latest deal is a multi-year managed services deal for security for an international digital security company providing software applications, secure personal devices such as smart cards and tokens, and managed services.
The stock opened at Rs 575 and touched a high of Rs 634 on NSE. The trading volumes on the counter have more than doubled with a combined 156,118 shares changed hands till 1150 hours on NSE and BSE.
