Zinc down 0.2% on low demand
Metal for delivery in January fell 0.24%

Amid subdued demand at domestic spot markets, zinc futures today fell by 0.28% to Rs 125.15 as participants reduced their positions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in February traded lower by 35 paise, or 0.28%, to Rs 125.15 per kg, with a business turnover of 23 lots.
The metal for delivery in January fell 30 paise, or 0.24%, to Rs 124.50 per kg in a business volume of 552 lots.
Marketmen said the fall in zinc prices at futures trade was mostly in tandem with a weak trend at domestic spot markets due to subdued demand but metal's strength overseas, limited the fall.
