A farmer was shot dead while he was asleep on early Monday morning in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh.
The incident took place at Prathamgarh Village of Bhojpur police station area. Seven rounds of bullets were fired at him and he died on the spot.
A case has been registered at Bhojpur police station.
Further investigation is underway.
