Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday moved into his official residence at 5, Kalidas Marg in Lucknow.
The five-time MP from Gorakhpur, who was sworn in as the 21st Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on March 19, has been staying at the VVIP Guest House.
Hindu seers and priests had earlier made elaborate arrangements and conducted a 'yajna' and sacred purifying rituals at the sprawling Chief Minister's bungalow.
Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi party leader Akhilesh Yadav, his father Mulayam Singh Yadav, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati were its earlier occupants.
