Akashvani to pay tribute to A P J Abdul Kalam on Aug. 15

The AIR, which had recorded conversation with former president Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam for its English feature on India's Space Mission titled 'Moon, Mars and Beyond-A Space Odyssey', will run this special conversation at 2

The byte, which was taken on July 16, was his last conversation with any media house.

The AIR would also rerun the special feature from English Archive "While the World Slept" which is a feature on events that occurred in the intervening night of August14-15, 1947. The script was written by Dominic Thomas. He co-produced with Kumud Malik.

The feature will run at 9:30 p m on the Rajdhani and FM Rainbow Channel on August 15.
