Amanda Bynes refuses to take help from her parents even though they provide money or means for meals, shelter and transportation, it has been revealed.
A source said that the idea that the 28-year-old actress' parents have left her without a place to stay or money to live on is not true, as they have paid for a hotel but she opts to sleep on couches rather than stay in hotels, People Magazine reported.
After paparazzi photographed Bynes sleeping on a couch at an L.A. shopping mall on Nov. 6, she took it to her account to say she was not given money for a hotel so she had been staying with friends and fell asleep on a couch because didn't get enough sleep, adding that she hates her parents for still not giving her money for a hotel.
According to the insiders, Bynes' parents, Lynn and Rick, have been providing the financial means for their daughter, who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, after she was released from a psychiatric facility on Oct. 30.
