Andhra CM Naidu holds review meeting with Capital Region Development Authority

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday held a review meeting with the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) to discuss development projects.

In the meeting, Chief Minister Naidu ordered the CRDA to use the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) funds for construction of roads, infrastructure development and cleanliness maintenance in 27 villages of the region.

Naidu has asked the department of urban development to monitor these development activities.

He has also asked the officials to speed up the beautification of parks in Amravati and Vijayawada as well as development activities at famous Kanakadurga Temple ahead of the forthcoming Dasara Festival.

 

Officials briefed the chief minister about plans to construct buildings for the judiciary, legislative and administrative and other residential complexes.

CRDA officials reiterated their commitment to complete the buildings within the next three years at an estimated cost of Rs. 11602 crores.
