Angela Bassett has recently explained why her movie 'Whitney' solely centered on Whitney Houston's marriage with Bobby Brown.
The 56-year-old said that Brown was the man that she fell in love with and they both understood each other, so they were more alike than they could imagine, Deadline.com reported.
For years the media painted Brown as the bad boy, who led Houston down a reckless path, however, the film shows a gentle side of the RandB rapper; that Houston was already self- destructive with cocaine before she even married Brown, she further added.
