ANI New York [USA]

Amid a host of twitter users using entangling animated emojis or Animojis, as they're popularly named, with karaoke videos, US-based tech giant Apple has released its own Animoji karaoke video.

The video released by Apple shows an Animoji leering at you at the start of the video, grinning ear to ear and swinging heads back and forth. Models dressed in matching colors have been placed alongside their Animojis, reports The Verge.

The Animoji feature was announced by the iPhone maker in September, alongside the launch of the iPhone X. The feature works on the Face ID scanning technology in built into the 'best ever' iPhone X to create custom 3D versions based on the user's facial expressions. These can be edited on full screen, and are animated in real-time before being sent as a message.

Once sent, recipients will receive them as looping videos with audio.

However, a Japanese company which owns the trademark for "Animoji" in the US, sued Apple in October for using the word to name its iPhone X feature.
