Ashley Hinshaw joins cast of 'True Detective'

Ashley Hinshaw is the latest addition to the cast of HBO's 'True Detective.'

The 26-year-old actress would play a troubled starlet on the upcoming 2nd season of the show, which revolves around three police officers (Colin Farrell, Taylor Kitsch, Rachel McAdams) and a career criminal (Vince Vaughn), Deadline.com reported.

Hinshaw is known for her roles on 'True Blood' and Marvel's 'Agent Carter', and will also be starring in Fox's feature 'The Pyramid.
