Barack Obama says his ears were one of the inspirations for 'Shrek'

US President Barack Obama claimed on his recent visit to the campus of DreamWorks Animation studio that he served as an inspiration behind the making of 'Shrek'.

While giving his speech, Obama asserted that not many people know that his ears were one of the inspirations for Shrek, adding that it's a true story, the Politico reported.

After watching Steve Martin and Jim Parsons record lines for their upcoming animated movie 'Home', Obama said that he would like to work at the studio, but he was concerned about the lighting in the offices.

Obama jokingly added that the lights were kind of dim and he is pretty sure he'd fall asleep.
