An Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot is suspected to have died in the mid-air crash of two Surya Kiran aircraft here on Tuesday, police said.
Karnataka Director General of Police MN Reddi said the collision took place while the aircraft, belonging to the Surya Kiran Aerobatics Team, were rehearsing for Aero Show 2019 which is slated to begin on Wednesday.
"One IAF pilot suspected to have died in the air crash" Reddi tweeted.
