BJP says Pakistan should honour agreed norms of bilateral engagement

BJP spokesperson G V L Narasimha Rao on Tuesday said Pakistan has to honour the norms of bilateral engagement between the two countries.

Rao said, "NSA level talks could not take place because of Pakistan. Pakistan backed off on the agreement arrived at between the two prime ministers in Ufa, Russia."

"Pakistan deliberately diverted the issue of terrorism to stall the dialogue," he added.

"Pakistan is guilty of breaking the dialogue between the two countries at a very high level," he stated further.
