Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy on Saturday criticised the vandalising of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's posters in Bihar and said such incidents will not demoralise his party workers.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to address a rally in Gaya tomorrow. Some anti-social elements are tearing the posters of the Prime Minister....It is not surprising, given the current situation in Bihar," Rudy told ANI.

"The way Bihar's chief minister has been behaving gives a boost to such elements. Prime Minister Modi is in the hearts of people of Bihar. BJP workers will not be demoralised with such incidents," he added.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's posters were found torn in Gaya in an apparent act of vandalism ahead of his rally tomorrow.

The assembly polls, slated for later this year, will be a heated affair, with six parties having merged under the Janata Parivar banner contesting against the BJP and the Congress.
