BSF Inspector General (IG), SK Sood, said that the paramilitary force was raised in 1965 and it would complete 50 years in 2015.

"This fair is held to create awareness about Border Security Force and its role among the residents. Besides securing borders, we are informing them about other roles played by the BSF," said Sood.
