China will not change its decision to vet candidates in 2017 elections, says Hong Kong's leader

Despite facing widespread protests from pro-democracy demonstrators, Hong Kong's Chief Executive CY Leung has made it clear that China will not change its decision to vet the candidates in the 2017 elections, a report said.
He said that the protests had "spun out of control" and did not rule out the use of force to end them, reported the BBC.
The pro-democracy protests have paralyzed parts of Hong Kong as demonstrators demand a fully free election in 2017.
