'Bridget Jones' author Helen Fielding has revealed that actor Colin Firth was stunned when he was told Mark Darcy was dead in 'Bridget Jones 3'.
The 55-year old English novelist said that she had to check if the 53-year-old actor, who plays the role of Darcy in the film adaptation, was alone because it might be too much of a shock for him, the Daily Express reported.
Fielding admitted that disclosing the news to Firth was "very difficult", almost like someone had actually died.
