Congress pays tributes to K Kamaraj on his birth anniversary

The Congress on Wednesday paid tributes to former Tamil Nadu chief minister K Kamaraj on his birth anniversary.

The official twitter account of the grand old party shared the message.

"Our humble tribute to Bharat Ratna K. Kamaraj,Our Inspiration,who played a leading role in shaping India's destiny," it posted.

Born on July 15, 1903, Bharat Ratna awardee Kamaraj was a former president of the Congress part and is widely acknowledged as being instrumental in making Lal Bahadur Shastri and Indira Gandhi prime ministers.
