Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday condemned the Congress party for wearing black bands in the Parliament, saying the latter is supposed to be a mature political outfit.
"Congress is supposed to be a mature party. I don't know who told them of this 'kaala patti' practice in the Parliament," said Naidu.
"There are charges against ministers and leaders of seven Congress ruled states, are they going to resign? House is there to debate, decide and discuss," he added.
The Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha have been adjourned till 2 p.m. and 12.30 p.m. respectively following the logjam over the Vyapam scam and Lalit Gate.
The Lok Sabha was earlier adjourned till noon amid massive uproar by the opposition leaders, who shouted slogans and reportedly wore black bands in protest.
