Congress women's wing protests against Centre's decision to terminate Indira, Rajiv's stamps

Protesting against the NDA Government's decision to discontinue postal stamps issued in the memory of former prime ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, women workers of the Congress staged a sit-in outside Sanchar Bhawan here on Wednesday.
Holding placards and shouting slogans against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), the protesters said the decision of the government reflected its "mentality" and "fear" of those Congress leaders who had laid down their lives for the nation.
They said that whatever India had achieved today was due to their efforts.
The protesters also tried to enter Sanchar Bhawan, but were thwarted by women police personnel.
