Cowell's exes keen to become godmother to kid

Simon Cowell's former girlfriends Sinitta and Jackie St Clair are both struggling for the coveted influential role of godmother to the X Factor boss' baby.

According to the reports, Cowell, who is already godfather to Sinitta's children Magdelena, eight, and six-year-old Zac, is desperate not to upset either of his two closest friends, the Mirror reported.

Once the role is dished out after the birth, the lucky winner will take centre stage at the christening ceremony.

A source told the Sunday People that Jackie, 52, has no children, therefore will be most obvious choice.
