Former South Africa all-rounder Jacques Kallis took to Twitter to announce his caddying debut as he would step onto the fairways at this week's Sunshine Tour event in Cape Town.
The 2014 Lion of Africa Cape Town Open, would be played from November 27-30 at Royal Cape Golf Club, and would host 156 professional golfers all gunning for a share of the 1.5 million Rand prize money on offer.
This year's Lion of Africa Cape Town Open has attracted a stellar field with George Coetzee, Hennie Otto, Branden Grace and Thomas Aiken headlining the event. And Kallis would also add to the occasion, although he would not be teeing off at Royal Cape, Sport24 reported.
Kallis took to social media platform, Twitter, to reveal that he would caddy for Sunshine Tour golfer, Grant Veenstra, this week.
Sun International recently announced that the winner of the event would receive direct entry into this year's 6.5 million dollars Nedbank Golf Challenge, the report added.
