Bob Mauro, president of the NATAS, said that White had been one of the most beloved female performers in the history of television and her career as a female pioneer has followed television from the beginning, People Magazine reported.

The 93-year-old actress will be joining Oprah Winfrey, Barbara Walters, Merv Griffin and Regis Philbin on April 26 in the list of people who have already been awarded with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The veteran actress already has 5 Emmy Awards to her name and has received a total of 21 nominations.
