Dolly Parton underwent surgery to remove kidney stones

After the rumours started swirling that Dolly Parton is suffering from stomach cancer, the singer has clarified that she underwent surgery to get kidney stones removed.

The 69-year-old singer, who had undergone the knife three weeks ago, said that she is fine and has returned to her work, TMZ.com reports.

Parton, who is now in good health, revealed that she has filmed the shots for her upcoming film 'Coat of Many Colors'.
