Explosions rock Kabul, 1 policeman injured

Explosions on Wednesday afternoon occurred close to the new building of Afghan's Ministry of Interior (MoI) in Kabul on the airport road.

Following the explosion, a cross-firing took place between the police personnel and militants in which a policeman was injured, as reported by the Sputnik news agency.

Security forces have cordoned off the area.

The identity of the militants is yet to be ascertained.
