Producers of 2013's miniseries 'The Bible' have decided to completely cut out Satan from their upcoming film 'Son of God' after the show created a controversy for starring a President Barack Obama-look alike as the devil.
The show was produced by Mark Burnett and Roma Downey and starred actor Mohamen Mehdi Ouazan, who looks a bit like Obama, as Satan.
Downey told The Blaze that she was disappointed, saddened and surprised when Satan stole the spotlight from Jesus in 'The Bible' with the comparisons between Satan and Obama.
Following the controversy, Downey and Burnett decided that removing Satan and focusing on Jesus would be the best option for the movie.
