Five people were shot at San Jose nightclub that was hosting R and B star Chris Brown, it has been confirmed.
According to San Jose police, gunfire was reported about 1:20 a.m. near the Fiesta nightclub on Monterey Road near Rancho Drive and across the street from the West Wind Capitol Drive-In, Stuff.co.nz reported.
It is reported that officers arrived to find four people who suffered gunshot wounds, and they were rushed to the hospital and another shooting victim walked into a local hospital later.
Brown, who was at the nightclub as part of a VIP birthday event, later tweeted, "I'm 100", giving a reference to that he, was absolutely safe.
The American rapper can be seen performing in the video when shots are heard and a scramble ensues inside the venue.
