Ousted Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif accompanied his ailing wife Kulsoom Nawaz to her radiotherapy session in London, England, on Saturday.
Sharif's daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif, on her Twitter account, posted two pictures, wherein Nawaz is overlooking Kulsoom as the latter is receiving radiotherapy treatment.
"Ami being taken for radiotherapy. Has become weak & frail due to excessive vomiting. Can't walk or move unaided. Prayers needed. Thank you." Maryam tweeted.
As reported by the Geo News, Kulsoom was admitted to an emergency department of a hospital in London on April 15. She is scheduled to receive the radiotherapy sessions for two weeks.
Kulsoom has been undergoing chemotherapy in London since 2017 after being diagnosed with lymphoma.
She has undergone a total of six chemotherapy sessions and three surgeries during the past seven months.

Kulsoom Nawaz has been in the United Kingdom for medical treatment for the past one year. In September last year, she was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan for the first time from NA-120 (Lahore-III) constituency.
The seat had fallen vacant after her husband was disqualified from the post of prime minister by the top court of Pakistan in the Panama Papers case.
In February, Pakistan's Supreme Court also disqualified Sharif from the post of ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) party chief, and on April 13, it further put a lifetime ban on the former Prime Minister from contesting elections.
