Defending US Open champion Andy Murray has said that he is focused to do well at this year's slam at the Flushing Meadows despite spending a much more busier week before the tournament than last time.

According to The Scotsman, Murray is not getting carried away with his publicity and expressed that it is a new experience for him to come out as defending champion.

The report said that the champion has got used to being big news wherever he goes and has been the talk of New York lately, while jokingly claiming that the future king of England could be bigger like him.

The Wimbledon Champion said that he won the juniors at the courts when he was 17 and therefore, he loved the US Open tournament.

If Murray wins his matches till the semi-finals, he could have a possible match with Novak Djokovic and then Rafael Nadal in the finals, the report added.
