Fresh fears erupted over troubled football legend Paul Gascoigne after it was reported that he had gone missing since collapsing drunk outside a London hotel on Monday.
According to the Mirror, the former England star has not contacted family, friends or his agent and has not been seen in public since his collapse, despite being discharged by a hotel, where he was supposedly treated, on Tuesday.
Stating that he had been trying to get in touch with Gascoigne for the past few days, his worried spokesman said that he has tried to know about his whereabouts from his friends like his former teammate Gary Mabbutt and Jimmy Gardner, but they too have failed to come up with answers.
Gascoigne's nephew Jay Kerrigan also confirmed that his family had not heard from him.
Gascoigne's friend Ronnie Irani, who helped pay for the former Tottenham Hotspur star's stint in a rehabilitation clinic in the US, has said that he too had not heard from him this week either.
