Gwyneth Paltrow has admitted that she took ecstasy after being questioned about her drug use on a TV show.

The Academy Award winner confessed about her drug use when she appeared on the comedy chat show 'Watch What Happens Live', the Mirror reported.

The 42-year-old actress was asked three personal questions according to the format of the show.

Paltrow did not divulge any further details about her drug use.
