Formula One star Lewis Hamilton has been busy recording an R and B single in Los Angeles and is hoping that spending two weeks on deck will catapult him into title contention before the summer break.
According to the Mirror, the 28-year-old spent a week in the studio laying down an R and B single in Los Angeles and then jetted back to the Mediterranean to share time on a luxury yacht off Ibiza with Mercedes overlord Niki Lauda.
The report said that the break appeared to have lifted his mood following his split from ex-Pussycat doll Nicole Scherzinger.
However, the report added that Hamilton had clarified he was not writing love songs to win anyone back but was something he enjoyed doing and was good at, adding that he missed being in the car and the break was too long.
