Heroin worth Rs 12.5 crore seized in Punjab
Punjab Police has confirmed the seizure of heroin worth Rs 12.5 crore and arrested one person in this regard.
The Ludhiana wing of Punjab Police's Special Task Force (STF) caught one person along the India-Pakistan border in Ferozepur. When he was frisked, STF sleuths seized 2.5 kilograms heroin from him worth Rs 12.5 crore. He is expected to be produced before a court around 2 p.m. today. Further details are awaited.
