Two persons were injured when an IED exploded at Muirei village along the Imphal-Ukhrul road in Manipur.
The bomb that exploded near the post of 16 Assam Rifles was believed to be planted to target the convoy of security forces in the area.
In another incident on September 27, a bomb planted by unidentified person exploded at Amway office located at Mantripukhri, Imphal East.
There were no casualties in the explosion.
