India must strengthen civilian govt. in Pak: Naresh Gujral

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Naresh Gujral on Friday said India must make all efforts to strengthen the civilian government in Pakistan.

"We all are in favour of the talks. We cannot move ahead without discussions and there is no other way out. The power centre in Pakistan is the civilian government, the army and its extension the ISI," Gujral told ANI.

"So, it is necessary that the Indian Government makes all efforts to strengthen the civilian authority there," he added.
