Indian Army observes Infantry Day

Chief of Army Staff, General Dalbir Singh Suhag, and other senior serving officers of the Indian Army on Monday laid wreaths at the Amar Jawan Jyoti here on the occasion of Infantry Day.
Infantry Day, which is observed on October 27 every year, marks the landing of the first paramilitary battalion at Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir to guard the valley from the attack and invasion of the Pakistani Army.
