Jai Courtney will be starring in upcoming psychological thriller 'Man Down.'
The project, which would be helmed by Dito Montiel, will see the 28-year-old 'Divergent' actor join Shia LaBeouf, Gary Oldman, Kate Mara and Toby Kebbell, Deadline.com reported.
The story would focus on Gabriel Drummer, a haunted Afghanistan war veteran who tries to come to terms with his past while looking for his family in a post-apocalyptic America, where Courtney would fill the role of Gabriel's best friend named Devin, who had served with him in the war.
Adam Simon wrote the screenplay for the film, which would begin filming in Louisiana in November, and would be produced Dawn Krantz, Stephen McEveety, and Jon Burton.
