With the latest political development in Bihar, it is likely that Janata Dal (United) will become part of Narendra Modi led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government at Centre.
JD-U leader Nitish Kumar on Thursday forged an alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to form government in Bihar. He took oath as Chief Minister and BJP leader Sushil Modi as Deputy Chief Minister.
According to sources, Modi government may undergo a reshuffle by next month and JD-U could get one Cabinet berth and one Minister of State (MoS).
Sources also said that Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar could be included in the Cabinet.
Neither Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) nor JD (U) has confirmed the news.
