Kanye West had no 'malicious intent' in asking handicapped fan to stand during concert

Kanye West recently sparked a controversy when he asked a handicapped fan to stand up for him during his concert in Sydney, Australia.

Sources told People Magazine that there was no "malicious intent" to offend, and anyone that had been to the rapper's concert knew that he asked for crowd participation.

Another source said that the incident was being blown out of proportion.

During the concert, the 'Stronger' rapper had said that he could not do the rest of the show until everybody stood up.
