Kerry says US threat of military strike against Syria remains 'real'

The threat of U.S. military strike against Syria remains real, Secretary of State John Kerry has said.

Washington's top diplomat made the comments a day after striking a deal with Russia to destroy Syria's chemical weapons stockpile.

At a news conference in Jerusalem with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Kerry aid that the threat of force remains and it is real, news24 reports.

According to the report, he added that they cannot have hollow words in the conduct of international affairs.
