Lahore Police has claimed that they have foiled a potential terror strike with the seizure of a truck laden with a huge cache of explosives.
According to the Dawn, the truck was impounded in the Shahdara Town area of Lahore.
The truck was stopped at the Rawal Bridge checkpost.
Police said that on examining 40 gunny sacks allegedly containing brimstone, the explosives were found.
They said two suspects have been arrested and added that they belonged to Chakwal and Mardan District respectively.
The suspects are being interrogated, police said.
