Lionel Richie denies rumours of daughter Nicole splitting from hubby

Music icon Lionel Richie has slammed rumours of his daughter Nicole getting a divorce from her singer husband Joel Madden.

The 65-year-old singer said his fashion designer daughter and her Good Charlotte's vocalist husband are happily married, The Mirror has reported.

The 'Hello' hit-maker said that when he recently visited his 33-year-old daughter at their new Beverly Hills house, he asked her whether she would come clear on the rumours, to which she replied in the negative.
