Lucasfilm confirms 'Fantastic Four' director Josh Trank for 'Star Wars' spinoff

Lucasfilm and Disney have declared Josh Trank, who's currently working on 'The Fantastic Four', to be the director of their much-anticipated 'Star Wars' standalone movies.
Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy wrote on StarWars.com, that the 30-year-old director's imagination and sense of innovation made him just apt for the film, CNET reported.
Trank, who's one of the youngest directors to debut with a hit movie, 'Chronicle', in the US, said that 'Star Wars' had defined his childhood and the opportunity was like an "incredible dream".
