Maggie Smith, the Oscar-winning actress who ruled 'Downton Abbey' as the Dowager Countess Violet Crawley, has announced that she will leave the show after its sixth season.
In the interview, the 80-year-old actress also revealed her disdain for selfies, something with which the Dowager Countess would most certainly agree, Stuff.co.nz reported.
Lady Grantham, as she's also known, said that it used to be just autographs, but now everyone wants photographs and so people begin to feel like all those people who believed photographs took the soul away.
Smith added that there's nothing like privacy, but nobody will have that soon. Nobody's private any more.
