Magnetic IED blast kills one in Kabul

One person was killed in a magnetic IED explosion in Kabul on Tuesday.

Khaama Press quoted Afghanistan's Ministry of Interior (MoI) spokesman Najib Danish, as saying that a magnetic bomb planted in a Toyota Fielder type vehicle detonated in Bani Esar area of the city.

No one else was killed or wounded in the explosion.

No individual or group has so far claimed responsibility for the incident.

Earlier, a mini-truck packed with explosives was confiscated by the security forces from the vicinity of the 5th police district of the city.
