Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan unfurls national flag in Mumbai

Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan unfurled the national flag here on Friday on the occasion of India's 68th Independence Day.

People were in an upbeat mood during the celebrations.

"Today is the 68th Independence Day. Many people had to sacrifice their lives for this day. We pray that this country succeeds in every aspect. I wish the entire country and its people a very happy Independence Day," said Anil Mahwole.
