Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri, whose goal helped the club win this season's Premier League title, and left-back Gael Clichy have reportedly been left out of France's World Cup squad.
Nasri, who had feared the worst before the announcement, said that he respects the choice and would watch the World Cup on TV, the Daily Express reports.
The French International added that if starting games for City and winning two trophies is not enough to be in France's national squad for the World cup, then it is too bad, the Daily Express reports.
