Mariah Carey has slammed a sound engineer for posting the wrong version of her new single 'The Art of Letting Go', admitting that she sounded like a "self-absorbed Diva".
The 43-year-old singer apologized to her fans on Facebook and said that she couldn't do what she always did and say nothing at all, it's 3.30 am, and she was sitting on her bathroom floor, very upset by some news that she received from a close friend, Us magazine reported.
The 'We belong together' hitmaker accused the new sound engineer for making the mistake, while her team and an incredible group of people from Facebook, partied while listening to the properly mixed and mastered version of the song on repeat.
Carey clarified that she was so focused on answering their questions during the Q and A that there was no reason for her to wonder if the final mix they were listening to was different than what they were listening.
She claimed that even though she sounded like a self-absorbed diva on a 'woe-is-me' tangent, but the reality is that she was solely focusing on the record, wanting them to hear it and experience it the right way.
