Meet the black woman who gave birth to white baby

An extremely rare event took place recently when a black woman gave birth to a white baby, which has 1,000,000-1 odds of happening.

The 32-year-old black mum, Catherine Howarth, who has a white husband Richard, said that the confused midwife couldn't believe it, the Mirror reported.

According to Richard, 34, when he first saw his baby boy Jonah, whose complexion was very pale due to the umbilical cord being wrapped around his neck when he was being delivered, it was a feeling of pure delight and relief that he was healthy and strong.

He continued that after a few hours when the baby's colour came to his cheeks, they noticed his complexion was very similar to his own and were surprised it was as light.

Financial analyst Howarth said that the doctors had only found two similar cases, both in America that had been reported in recent times.
