A pregnant Tampa woman recently gave birth to a healthy baby girl after waking up from coma, it has been reported.
Jenny Quiles was struck by a tow truck while walking across First Avenue North on Oct. 15 and had been in a coma since then at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, the St. Petersburg reported.
Physician Jennifer Gilby said that fortunately there have been no major complications in Quiles' health that have put the baby at risk.
Her husband, Angel Quiles, started a GoFundMe page to raise money to help cover medical expenses, which had more than 7,700 dollars.
